Siit-Sinna: terms and privacy

Who we are

Siit-Sinna (Android package name com.alvarlaigna.siitsinna) is a free companion app for public transport in Tallinn. It is made by Pearls and Roses OÜ (registry code 14761524). The author is Alvar Laigna. The Google Play publisher is Altos Engineering OÜ. Contact: hello@pearlsroses.com.

The app

Siit-Sinna is an independent companion. It is not an official app of the City of Tallinn, Tallinna Linnatransport, the Republic of Estonia, or any other public body, and it is not affiliated with them.

Licence to use

We grant you a free, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own purposes. You may not sell or rent the app, or present it as your own product. You may stop using it at any time by uninstalling it.

Data sources

The app uses official open public-transport and geographic data sources. The publishers of those sources remain responsible for their data. Timetables, positions and other information may differ from what you see in reality. An internet connection is needed to fetch that data from the sources.

No warranty

The app is free of charge and is provided as it is. We do not promise that the information is complete, timely or uninterrupted. Mandatory consumer rights that the law does not allow us to exclude still apply. Beyond that, we are not liable for a missed journey, incorrect information, or other loss that the law allows us to exclude.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new text. The current text is on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Estonian law, to the extent mandatory consumer law allows.

No account

The app does not require an account or a login. We do not keep a register of app users.

Data on the device

Data that arises in the app stays on your device. We do not run a backend that stores your personal data from the app.

Network connections

To show transport and map information, the app connects only to official open public-transport and geographic sources. Those requests go to the source publishers, not to an account we operate. The source operator may see your IP address and similar technical data, as with any request on the internet; they do not send us a copy.

The app does not include ads or analytics.

Your rights

You may access your data, ask us to rectify or erase it or to restrict processing, object to processing, and complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate. Write to hello@pearlsroses.com. If the data is only on your device, uninstalling the app is the most direct way to remove it.
